Order is placed with U.S. importer then contacts a China or Hong Kong trading company. The trading company will send a representative to China for one week to search for a factory capable of manufacturing the requested product.The factory will then quote a price to the trading company. A negotiation of the price will be made during the final purchase of their commission onto the price quoted by the factory and resell the purchased product to the U.S. importer. The U.S. importer will then add a percentage for their commision onto the price they purchased the product from the trading company as well as an additional fee for shipping to the U.S. port the importer will hold the product until payment for the costs of custom clearance is received from the end customer. Shipping and custom clearance can take up to 60 days. Finally the end customer must either pay an additional charge to have the product shipped to them or arrange to pick up the port. The use of intermediaries to locate and purchase products drives up the price and extends the delivery schedule for the end customer.

All of VIG's offices in both the U.S. and China are staffed with multilinguals personnel creating a direct link between customers and manufacturing facilities. Customers can sit down in one of VIG's U.S. offices and speak directly with a representative who will help facilitate their manufacturing needs. The customer's needs are then forwarded to VIG's China headquarters and partnered manufacturers and then back to the customer.The customer is able to see samples and any plans for the production beings and work with VIG representatives to create a final product together. This creates a circle of communication that virtually eliminates errors between the customers and the manufacturing facilities.
